He is the only person on usenet I have ever killfiled. Not because
I disagree with or dislike what he says, but because it is
undecipherable and has no value.

I actually know the feeling there is someone on sci.geo .earthquakes that drives me potty in the same way. But at least I tried to ask for explanations and make the best of them. Even offer suggestions very occasionally.

He flattened me recently after I had been going on about the route takesn by seismic waves. I emphatically said they chased one another from Vanbatua to Chile westwards across the top of the Med.

The next bloody post he wrote contradicted me so I wiped the floor with him..

A few weeks later someone on here posted the SSTs for the world and it clearly showed how seiches were emanating from the earthquake swarms in the Weddell Sea with systems at the mouth of the Ross Glaciers that had been harmonising with American Line-storms (thus indicating a track up to north polar waters through the Atlantic.)

And on it at the same time, a wave or trough emanating from the swarm of epicentres in Chile over and back to:

Vanuatu.

At least I had the grace to go and ask him how he knew.
But you are right there was a disconnect between cultures.
So go in pieces. And live a splendid life devoid of acceptance of the superabundance of his splendour.

I may have done it wrong but I did my bit. If he had ever asked I am sure I may have helped. But I just got sick of being **** on continually. So **** him.
