Default Fog on the north coast, warm humid & sunny on the south

Sea fog means it's around 13C at Camborne, in fact now the whole of the north coast appears to be misty or foggy, as is the top of the moors & the Lizard plateau.

This has meant that the forecast noon temperature at Penzance got amended to 13C, (it was 16C earlier) As recent 'Penzance weather is validated against Camborne, everything is fine.

In practice, the south coast has seen completely different weather, up to the high teens & sunshine. In Penzance it was 15.2C at 09:00, at noon 17.3C, having been 17.8C mid morning in still sunny conditions prior to the sea breeze. Land's End, where the wind stuck offshore, saw it reach 19C this morning!

Cloud is now starting to bubble up as a southerly sea breeze has just set in against the ENE gradient wind. Also some mistiness out to sea, most but not all dispersing as it approaches land. This mornings 17.8C may prove to be the maximum.

Fantastic morning for the opening of the Jubilee pool, which was packed, and thanks to yesterdays sunshine the water is a tepid 15-16C.

Pictures of the Jubilee Pool, open again, packed and in glorious sunshine. Fortunately not the 13C forecast for noon.
