Rain - Only 1.1mm 22nd May - 9th June
(none today yet, despite the radar - much with you Len?)

Sunshine, even up on the moors, has averaged 9 hours per day (170 hour total). More on the coast.

Temperature - Warmest start to June since 2006.

Not one aspect exceptional in itself, but combined they have resulted in a great spell of weather. I'm quite please for a change as I need to get some work done.

The rain is here Graham.

The quality of mercy is not strained, it falleth as the gentle rain from heaven.

After two weeks of dry weather (3 mm) with maxes around 20°C every day..

The garden needs the rain and my back needs a rest from gardening, so all in all a good thing.
