Record temperatures in the USA this weekend?
In article ,
says...
Yes you are spot-on Alan we know that the USA is far hotter than India. Oh how wrong can I be? I mean that blizzard of 1829 that buried Sabu in Calcutta. People just don't realise ho cold India can be in its winter.
Yes. Some parts of the USA are far hotter than some parts of India. Well
done. You are getting somewhere.
Now. Try and guess which parts of India would be frequented by
elephants. Think about what elephants might eat. You know, trees, long
green grass, green shrubbery.
Where would such things grow? In the cooler bits of India, or in
Calcutta?
In fact, although most Asian Elephants don't actually live in India,
those that do tend to live in the more mountainous regions. Where there
are trees. And large quantities of green grass. Those that do live in
warmer areas live in the tropical forests. Which are moist. And still
40F cooler than the 120F mentioned in the article.
Shall we delve further into your ignorance. We've gone quite deep
already and it's beginning to get very dark down there.
