The fairly classic cold front was not really on the forecasts, which showed basically white cloud all day, with little change in temperature (16-17C.)
This morning was typical warm sector. Muggy, bits of drizzle, glimpses of the sun. Then around noon a narrow band of proper rain went through, showed up well on the radar. After falling to around 15.5C during the rain, the temp rose to 18.7C by mid afternoon. UP to 20C on Scilly where the clearance arrive around 11:00.
Behind the front very good visibility, less humid, and good sunny periods. In fact during the time I was at Sennen (13:00-15:00) it was largely unbroken sunshine.
Quite a nice clean wave in a mostly F2-3 offshore SSE wind.
