Mike was a true gentleman , he showed it with his vast knowledge but never used that to look superior. Mind you to be fair most of the people who post here are like that, but Mike seemed like a really good bloke. But again the NG now is a lot different to the one Mike knew and I'm sure he would have had his patience tried by know with people like Ron, Dave , Paul H , the Santon kids and col etc.

No I meant Col, as I was writing I reflected on how the NG has become since Mike's death and knew that many would see me as one of the culprits and Mike would have had his patience tested with me not those I named who were the first well behaved and OT group members that came into my head. I mean Ron and Dave -come on, I also couldn't remember 'Asha' so I put the Santon kids as. It was surely obvious that these people are infinitely less of a pain up the arse than me. I mean look at Tudor his a good bloke, but I can't deny I cheese him off I don't want to, but I do.


However I'm really annoyed at the willingness to misconstrue my words regarding Mike. I would never have a bad word to say about him , in fact despite my lack of popularity I don't have a bad word , niggled on occasion, about anyone bar one. Not even you Alastair we've had some bust ups with you accusing me of being paid by 'big oil'. I mean surely if you are paying someone to write your point of view you wouldn't pick me based on my grasp of grammar alone. But I don't dislike or harbour a grudge towards you
