It's already (11:45) the warmest day of the year along the north Cornish coast. Even on the cliff tops, around 24C at St Mawgan, and 25C at Land's End.
It's been very sunny recently, even over the moors

For some time we've been just south of the frontal cloud, only just the tip of Cornwall sticking out at times. It's certainly too hot for the wetsuit today.
Jubilee Pool http://www.covecottagestloy.co.uk/wp...bilee-pool.jpg is closed today until 2pm, for the official opening (by Prince Charles) and misc Councillors, some of who voted against it's re-opening.
Given that approx 1,000 paid to go in the pool over the course of yesterday, at an average cost of around £3 per head, 5 lifeguards had to be on duty, perhaps Charles will make up the shortfall. Maybe even make a donation to the Friends.
Still, I suppose it's all good publicity.
