We really could do with some rain but looking at the long range forecast

The garden grass has gone from green to brown in under a week and the
hills out back are now turning brown too. This part of Devonshire is no
longer the lush, pastoral landscape it normally is.
Today, the offshore SSTs at 1 metre depth in Lyme Bay exceeded 20C for
the first time this summer.
