Default West Cornwall - Huge north coast South coast difference.

Left Penzance @ 10:00. Broken low cloud & sunny spells in Penzance, 18.5C. At St Just (near Cape Cornwall) it was not the good visibility forecast for that time, it was dense sea fog (well cliff top fog to be precise). In fact the thickest fog I've experienced for many months, well under 100m visibility. It was also steady drizzle & (according to the car thermometer) 16C.

Just got back to Penzance. Still sunny intervals, the sun visible through the low cloud much of the time. Car thermometer showed 20C, Stevenson screen just 20C (11:45) and completely dry. Very little wind, a warm, muggy feel. A different world weatherwise.

Thick fog at Land's End airport is not a good thing on a school holidays changeover day! Still, it might well clear as slightly drier air edges in from the north. In fact, having just looked at the Sennen harbour webcam, which looks towards the airport, it's just lifted off the cliff tops. http://www.sennen-cove.com/harbourcam.htm
