Default [WR] Otter Valley, Devon - CF brings 'warmth and humidity'?

Far from being an expert in these things but wasn't that a cold front
that went through this early afternoon?

If so then it didn't live up to its name because as the band of broken
cloud cleared to the south there was a sudden rise in temperature and
humidity. I was expecting fresher air.

Even allowing for an increase in the sunshine (which was very hazy), the
temperature rose at 16:00 to 25.6C with a DP of +18C at the time. This
was from a meandering temperature of 22C to 23C before the CF arrived
even with some sunshine.

I've just noticed that there was a subtle change in wind direction from
WNW to NW as the front arrived then afterwards there was an hour of the
wind turning SW and this coincides with the hike in temperature and
humidity. The wind then turned NW again and the temperature and humidity
slowly declined.

Now a sunny, warm evening with cloudless skies.
