Must admit, I almost put money on it even though we had Heavy rain
forecast for 8 and 9am according to the Met Office.
Won't be until October before we see any useable rain here I reckon.
If you live just up the coast from Shoeburyness, by repute the driest
place in Britain, then I'm afraid you are going to have to expect this.

Certainly very dry here in Rochester. Didn't look like it rained at all here last night. After a bit of a cloudy start it soon brightened up and by early afternoon it was warm and sunny again. Fantastic weekend weather. Could easily pass for July if it wasn't for the sudden onset of darkness after 6..30pm.
