Default West Cornwall - Surfy, Sunny & Warmer.

Yesterday was the 1st day to fail to reach 15C (peaking at just 14.7C) since 19th May (14.1C). A distinctly chilly wind.

Today a complete contrast. With a very gentle breeze off the Bay, where the SSTs still around 16C, the prolonged morning sunshine into SE facing Penzance pushed the temperature up to 17.8C by 13:30. A bit more like it, it feels vastly different.

Interestingly, a narrow band of thin Sc which crossed just after dawn, developed into a line of Cu & Cb as it's moved up the County, to give some showers well to the east.

Surfwise September was generally excellent, and the forthcoming week looks an absolute classic, with deep lows locked in mid west Atlantic and offshore winds on the north coast. By the time the swells, generated largely 1,000 miles away, get here, it'll result in a long period, pretty big clean swell.
