Just been to the butchers and mildly surprised (shouldn't have been, I
suppose) to see the grass white with frost. Not only that but some
roofs were also white. Butcher said his car temperature on the way in
was +3C.

Someone else taken a lot more by surprise was a schoolgirl wearing a
low-cut lacy-looking black top with bare midriff. She was holding her
arms across her upper chest to attempt to keep warm. Presumably sheer
stupidity runs in her family else a parent would have made her wear
something more sensible.
