Are you sure it wasn't fashion/peer pressure and not parental
stupidity? There seem to be plenty of people who are all to keen to
display acres of bare flesh at the sight of a little sunshine, paying
no heed to temperature and wind-chill.


Even if it was fashion/peer pressure, it's still stupidity. Any way, she
was walking with a well-wrapped-up 'peer'. The other girls I noticed on
my way back were also well-prepared for the weather.

Shortly after I got back from my shopping, I had to hang out the
washing. Little wind so I felt quite warm with the low sun on my back
but when I stepped into the shade . . . brrr!
