No rain here at all, Ian. Funny county, this Northamptonshire.

I remember back in 1981 (I think) when I was living in Brackley, we were
under about two feet of snow with temperatures freezing the balls off
the local monkeys. I came up to Northampton (20 miles to the north) that
weekend to see some friends, and they couldn't believe what we were
living through. They were basking in bright sunshine, without a flake of
snow to be seen.

dgoldstone's thunder (previous reply) was a different storm. You must
have caught the edge of the Bedford storm on its way to Peterborough.
