It's more or less consistently there though moving/changing slightly from 0700 to 1230, 10 Dec.

I guess it's some processing artefact rather than a real radar return, but I'd quite like to know.

Yes, it looks like it will be back on the 12th around noon, so look out for Derechos in the USA or shelf clouds in Australia.
