Tideswell, Derbyshire - Friday 16th December 2016
----------------------------------------------------------------

RMK: Fog lifted into low cloud around 1730z yesterday. There
was slight rain through the evening and occasionally
overnight.

0900z 17004kt 8000 7Sc008 06.9/06.7 1023
RMK: Rain died out around 0700z. There's one or two small
holes in the cloud sheet showing blue sky above.
09-09z: Tx 7.8 (1820z) Tn 6.3 (0900z yesterday) RR 0.7
21-09z: Tn 6.9 (0900z) 15-09z: Tg 6.8 00-24z: Sun nil

1600z 18002kt 10km 8Sc010 06.6/06.1 1026
RMK: A lot of cloud throughout the day though the were
occasional breaks in it. These produced a few brief glimpses
of the sun. Nevertheless, the sunshine total for the month
to date stands at a pretty pathetic 8.0 hours. Even the very
mild, dull and wet December last year produced a total of 26.5
hours. We might end up doing worse than that this year. The
sunshine total for the year to date is only 907.7 hours. The
least sun I have recorded in a year is 946.2 hours, in 2012.
We look pretty certain to end up with less than that this
year. Max temp today 7.9
