It's turning into a very interesting winter in Cornwall. I'll have to do a
combined Dec/Jan report. Not just lack of rain & an almost unheard of
complete lack of gales (so far), but exceptionally high average barometric
pressure etc.


I've lived here since 2003 and I have never seen Dartmoor rivers and reservoirs
so low at this time of year. 8 of the last 12 months here have had less than
100mm. Every month since last Feb. has been below, some well below, average in
terms of rainfall.
