Biggest sea in Mount's Bay for a couple of years now. Still impossible to drive (and certainly not walk!) along the prom at half tide - everyone's being turned away. There are still some pretty big pebbles being hurled across the road. The next 2 high tides are a concern (21:00 & 03:30 approx) as the swell's got a long way to build yet. At least the peak wind is still forecast to be around this afternoons low tide.
The weather event of the autumn/winter for Penzance by a big margin, with noo weather warning. Though there is for the much lighter winds predicted for tomorrow. Wind has gusted 70mph in the most exposed spots.

The sunshine is making it look spectacular
https://www.minack.com/a-living-theatre/webcams/ You wouldn't think it's low tide about 14:30.
Needless to say, a few extreme windsurfers out and about.
