Mean temperature at 9.7C (29th) and that makes it the warmest March
since before 2005.

I am a little surprised by this. Must be the lack of sunshine that has
given the opposite impression.

I suspect given the forecast it will end up a little higher than that.

Sunshine has recovered a bit recently but still well below normal with
94 hours.
