Showers became a lot beefier after 1700z as the depth of instability increased, but were short-lived as they were moving so quickly. Nevertheless, there was 2.4 mm recorded between 1740z and 1755z (with a maximum intensity of 34.4 mm/hr) as a larger shower passed over. Showers died out after 1900z, and the rest of the night was breezy and partly cloudy. Sunny intervals this morning with varying amounts of convective cloud.
