Exactly Col. We had friends staying for the last few days and we headed
for the beach at the weekend. It was OK when the sun shone but it felt
rather chilly in the wind. And when that sun went in, it was get the
fleeces out! It comes to something that one of the worst spells of
weather of the entire year so far, occurs in August.
I heard the sun may even shine this afternoon - a miracle (if it does).
Currently 14.3C at 10:45 - it has got be a joke (hasn't it?)
Day max. here in Haytor so far +14.6C. Nothing remarkable in that, simply a
cool day in summer and really quite nice in the sunshine right now. This is the
UK not the Costa Whatever.
