There seems to have been a big contrast between south Manchester (Didsbury) with the Peak District (Tideswell) today. A dry day here after slight overnight rain, cloud cover broke at times from mid-morning onwards to give some sunny intervals and though there was plenty of cloud it was thin and it was basically a fine bright afternoon with sunny spells a max temp of about 17c.
