Well, the good news is that this IS indeed normal when the UK is

easterlies, à la this weekend.:-o :-) ;-)

Check the records. The SAME thing happened in 1963 AND, I think,

1947,
too. Likewise with Iceland, or at least the southern part of it.


Correct.
Reykjavík and the south of Iceland often get temperatures of 10°C or
above in Jand and Feb and the Eastern fjords got over 17°C in Feb
2000.
