Default Lack of continuity in BBC forecasts

Can't really work out what to expect Monday onwards anymore. BBC seem to
have dropped the temps down to 2-3C but no more talk of the widespread

snow,
only possibly snow showers "giving a dusting" on the East coast. Fair
enough, but the reasons for the changes aren't that clear from chart
differences so is it just an individual interpretation?
Countryfile should be worth a look - hope it's not Dan!

Forecasts evolve as more information comes to hand, Dave. I rarely watch any
TV weather these days but assuming it was a national broadcast it sounds
like they're correctly following the guidance from HQ. Although I wouldn't
agree with showers "giving a dusting" on the East coast if that's what was
said.

The main difficulty at the moment is gauging the extent of the inland
penetration of showers as the flow veers more towards the east later today
and tomorrow. I'd keep an eye on the TAFs.
