and the whole think came to grinding halt.
They couldn't wait to ditch the old system so they couldn't go back to
that, and even if they could go back it would be a painful humiliation
if they did, so they went for the least worst option.
if I'm right, it doesn't bode well for the future.
I switched to the BBC News Channel and the forecast at virtually the same
time was fine. It might have been recorded but then that option would have
been available on the the other channel; it's a bit odd.
My immediate thought was that there might have been a f/c on BBC News at
~21:25. Maybe the BBC 1 21:10-21:30 News was slightly delayed?
