Went to Sainsbury's this morning and bought a disposable BBQ. The
cashier was a little surprised. I explained with the threat of a
snow storm in the next few days, it was going to be handy to cook
on when we lose our electricity.

If it's not needed then it will be useful anyway with the BBQ
summer we are going to get this year.

You heard it here first.

Classic Len, you made my day with that little gem.

Yesterday I made a comment on twitter, after receiving Met Office
snow warning after another, then updated warnings, that I was getting
snowed under with snow warnings. It got a laugh.

It does seem to have been a bit chicken little snowmageddon headlines.

So far the amount of salt and pepper snow I have seen today in North
Yorks wouldn't merit any comment at all. It didn't stick and was barely
noticeable. Perhaps it will be different tonight but so far so good,
(unless you like being snowed in)

In all fairness, Monday was never going to be much.
