This isn't sufficient apparently, just half a life time's work of mine at Bablake, evidently not up to student requirements! Sad!!!

I would have thought that not many stations have reliable rainfall
records going back as far as 1870 anyway. How far back does the reliable
record go in any place, certainly not 200 years!
