That funny little low pressure (what's that all about then?) stuck with
its centre just to the west of Cornwall has been a nuisance for several

for the heater (and not the air conditioning) on a drive back from Exeter.

Some of us would rather like some cloud and cool days!

Last night it did finally rain here in london on and off for an hour.
Enough to wet the ground and make a few shallow puddles but the road was
dry again within a couple of hours of it stopping and this morning the
humidity is pretty bad.
