Think you are right Norman, complete waste of time. Midlands forecaster
said today the further north and west you are the better chance of
sunshine, must be having a laugh!!
I don't think we can get any further north and west.

When the wind's from the east, forecasts are rarely anywhere near right.
You just have to make odd adjustments here and there, like when they
talk about "eastern coastal districts" you have to realise that places
like Birmingham have to be counted as being east coast seaside resorts.
East winds are always colder and stronger than forecast. If you hear
them say there'll be a light NE breeze with a little rain, don't bother
with an umbrella as the wind will turn it inside out.
