To be fair to them it was pretty accurate for North Yorkshire.
Brightened up nicely in the afternoon after a dull wet start.

Overcast with rain and drizzle all day. Tomorrows forecast says the same
as it did today, 'some drizzle then brighter'............. I wonder!!
