After being a light onshore the wind has backed a little and has allowed the temperature to rise to 20.1C, may rise a bit further.
It did, with the wind backing offshore around 15:45 (under the influence of an afternoon north coast sea breeze) a late maximum of 20.5C @ 16:30.

Max 23.1C here.
No sea breeze.

Must be close to an April record? Highest max here 22.0C (since 1991), though there's quite a cluster between 20 & 22C. The cold sea puts a lid on it.
21C @ Newquay at 10:50. Just topped 20C in Penzance (11:30), so could get close to record levels.
