The max temp was 30.1° which makes it the hottest
June day in the 11 years I have been here. The previous
hottest was 29.8° on 25th June last year. As far as all
months are concerned today was the hottest day only
since 30.3° on 26th July last year. Looking forward to
something much cooler tomorrow :-)

The cooler air has arrived here, a maximum of 19.8C today. In very light winds and high humidity it still felt warm.

Peak of the heat here was 26th/27th In Newquay max of 27th on 27th. Just 14C in sea mist @ 13:00 today!

The ground is dry now, especially after the wind, sun & high temperatures of 26th/27th. The last significant rain was 6.6mm on 18th, and nothing in the forecast for at least the next week.
