called an 'Arctic Hurricane'
(can sport an eye feature),probably classifiable as a 'mesoscale
extratropical cyclone',but have
been called 'polar mesocyclones'.
then there's 'sub tropical mesoscale extratropical cyclone' eg
'Mediterranean Hurricanes',
