Yes, it's very interesting comparing the different timescales.
This is sobering as well. Global CO2 emissions rose from 24b tonnes in to 36b tonnes now

In particular CO2 produced by cement production seems out of control, 53m tonnes in 1950, 1.5billion tonnes now. Thanks largely to grand projects by governments pledged to become carbon neutral.
In fact Britain 4 biggest construction projects (Hinckley, Crossrail, HS2 & one other which slips my mind) will, if ever completed, emit roughly the same amount as a city the size of Birmingham, or what 19 million Malawians emit in a year, just solely from the cement used!
Trouble is the timescales involved are of little concern for politicians elected for 5 years.
