The Queen's Speech today set out proposals for 26 Bills. Not one

it is probably the most important single issue faced by the
country and the world in the coming years. I'm not impressed.

Yes, very depressing Norman. But then again, what else do you
expect from the Tories. Climate change is an anathema to the Tory
ideology of unfettered capitalism. No surprises there.

The weather has been quite Tideswell-esque here lately. Only 4
hours of sunshine for the last 4 days and a lot of rain. October
is one of the wettest months of the year here but so far, things
are getting a bit ridiculous. Monthly total now over 75 mm.

I know this is a weather site - but you can't just spout the idea
that Capitalism is a bad thing. It has reduced poverty in every
country where it is practised. The global warming problem will be
solved by technology and economic progress. Socialism will just
bring poverty and zero solutions.

But the Tories closed your day-centre, Eggy!
