UK min. temps on Tuesday night https://tinyurl.com/y6czn5oy
Kinbrace (Sutherland) 0.8°C, Westonbirt (Glos) and Otterbourne
(Hants) 0.7°C, Aviemore and Charlwood 0.6°C, South Newington (Oxon)
0.4°C, Dalwhinnie and Usk (Monmouthshire) 0.3°C, Farnham (Alice Holt
Lodge) 0.2°C, Glen Ogle -0.2°C, Shoreham -0.4°C.
Jersey Airport 7.6°C, St Mary’s (Scilly) and St Helier (Jersey)
7.7°C, Portland and St Catherine’s Point 8.5°C.
It's a slight surprise that Shoreham was the coldest place, assuming
that it's the Sussex Shoreham (which as there's an airfield there seems
likely). As the crow flies, it's probably only 60 or so miles from St
Catherine’s Point, the mildest place overnight.
It's certainly Shoreham Airport in Sussex https://tinyurl.com/sj7ecrb .
Wind seems to have fallen away overnight - no doubt that played a part
in the low temperature https://tinyurl.com/shcsmzp .
Thanks. I live about 30 miles due north, and there was at least a ground
frost here.
