Australia is of course a country well used to bush fires, they are a
natural part of the ecosystem after all.
Now we all know that no one single event can ever be blamed on global
warming alone but what is happening there at the moment is unprecedented.

The bush fire are an annual event, but this year after 3 years of drought they are unprecedented. I always thought Australian drought was associated with an El Nino event, there's not been a full blown one of these for sometime now, so what else is causing the drought?
