the fast-moving thin stratus. The wind is freshening.

RMK: A cloudy day after the early brightness.
Occasional slight rain from late morning. Became
continuous in early afternoon and gradually intensified
to moderate to heavy by dusk. A windy day but, so far,
not exceptionally so for January. It has reached Force 7
for short periods in the second half of the afternoon
with a couple of gusts to 44 knots. Max temp so far
is 6.2° but it's still creeping up.
