Default Cornwall - A dry & fairly sunny month. Coolish & breezy though.

Rainfall around 50% of normal over most of Cornwall, and the south coast of Devon / Dorset / Hants. So far this month 51% of normal July rainfall in Penzance, 46% in Camborne, 42% at Plymouth. Even drier in the Channel Isles. Also now normal July sunshine at both nearby Bosullow & Camborne. Not been a bad month here, but a bit cool overall. It looks like ending up around -0.5C compared to the 1981-2010 norm. Also quite a windy month for summer. Not the wet & cloudy month the nice lady on today's forecast said, though I realise it has been in many areas.GrahamPenzance

Aye, rainfall around 60% of normal though the majority of that
fell in one big shortlived downpour. Mean temperature smack on
the average but days warmer and nights cooler than normal.
Sunshine now a little above my eLTA. On the whole, a rather
pleasant July.
