Beaufort letters (1400-1500Z): cm

Dense fog until 0900Z, thinning to mist by 1030Z. The stratus layer
has lifted to its maximium height of the day so far at 300 feet AGL
and has broken to the south to create some elongated bright patches
on the rough sea where the sun is shining on it. Hill fog persists
on the higher downs. Dry up to now.
RH 94%. Fresh WSW'ly breeze. Max temp so far today 17.4
