RMK: A fine autumnal morning.
0900z CALM 30km 3Ac150 6Ci300 16.1/15.3 1019
RMK: After the coolish start it's now warm and
quite muggy. Middle cloud and patches of thick
upper cloud are limiting the sunshine.
09-09z: Tx 25.6 (1640z) Tn 9.6 (0420z) RR nil
18-09z: Tg 7.8
1600z 16002kt 30km 6Ac120 7Ci300 27.1/18.1 1018
RMK: A hot and sticky day with very little wind.
Extensive middle and high cloud have limited the
sunshine and there's some castellanus now, probably
connected to the activity over NE Wales and Merseyside.
Max temp 27.4° which makes it the hottest September
day in my 12-year record. The previous hottest was
27.1° on 13th Sep 2016. Looking forward to the
much cooler weather during the rest of the week.
