Well, after such a warm, quiet, dry month so far. this'll take a bit of getting use to.
10.8C @ 09:00 after a minimum of 8.7C. My lowest ever September max was 13.0C on 29/09/93, today isn't going o be far off, despite an SST of 16C.

Too right Graham, this has come as shock especially after getting back
from a very warm and pleasant Portugal a few days ago. It was warm here
on the first day back to lessen the contrast; then this! Makes me want
to head south again.

A maximum of 14.9C today but most of the morning and early afternoon it
was stuck at 12C, overcast with showers. Only did the prolonged sunshine
this afternoon raise the temperature a little.

The older I get the lesser I care for the cold.
