Considering the generally large amounts of cloud around, there has
been quite a lot of sunshine. This is because of the extensive St
layer upwind continually breaking up as it approaches the south
coast. Currently sunny with less in the way of St, with Sc Ac and
Ci above, and a partial halo. Some local small Cu but quite large
Cu tops occasionally poke above the Sc sheet to the southeast.
Good visibility. A dusting of snow was apparent earlier this
morning on Mottistone Down to the northwest. No pptn fell here.
RH 82%. Moderate NE'ly breeze. Max temp so far today 5.4
