Until about 1415Z, it was a day of sunshine and fog banks, the fog
mainly NE half, whilst clear in SW half. Frost in the village early
on but copious hard rime above the 500 feet contour. Sub-zero air
temp until 1100Z, then a sudden jump to 2.9C as the wind temporarily
swung round from N to SE, falling back as the wind reverted to NW.
Large amounts of Ci this morning has decreased to 2 oktas, mainly
to the south. Visibility poor or very poor this morning (very good
over water), improving inland to moderate. An interesting day.
RH 80%. Wind mainly N-NW, force 1-2. Max temp so far today 2.9
