Overcast and misty at times with outbreaks of moderate rain.
Fog observed at 0700Z. The cloud has lifted off all but the
highest downs and there is a slither of blue sky distant W.
It's one of those 'transparent' visibility days where the
Island headlands aren't very distinct, yet I can discern
the Purbeck Hills 50km away. In any event, the worst vis
is to the NE at 10km. There's been a gradual increase in
the westerly wind from moderate to fresh.
RH 95%. Rainfall 0600-1200Z is 2.2mm
