Increasingly cold and damp this afternoon. Slight rain and drizzle since 1320z. Well-broken low cloud initially, with sunny intervals, then stratus spread southwards after 1315z. Very good or excellent visibility, becoming moderate or poor after 1330z. Surface wind NW F4-5 with gusts to 28 knots, veering N-NNE F2-3 after 1330z. Maximum temperature today was 9.5 (0900z) - the temperature has been falling steadily since 1000z.
