yesterday evening. The sky remained cloudy till
about 0200z then the rapidly falling temperature
suggests that the cloud cleared. It's a fine morning
with a hard frost.

RMK: Cirrus spreading from NW. There's 4 cm of
lying snow. Untreated roads are covered with thick
frozen slush. This morning's min temp is the lowest
in any month since -7.4C on 3rd Feb 2019 and is the
lowest in January since -9.5C on 16th Jan 2013.

RMK: Sunny spells during the morning and into the
early afternoon. A gentle S'ly breeze set in at 1400z
and brought fog with it. The fog has persisted since then.
There's 4 cm of lying snow. Main roads are clear but
untreated roads are badly affected by frozen slush.
Max temp -0.1C and we had 3.9 hours of sunshine.
