RMK: Heavy rain moved away by 0730z. Slight rain has
continued since then. Fog has developed during the past
hour.

RMK: A cloudy day. Occasional slight rain continued till
about midday. The afternoon was dry. A marked warm
front went through this morning. The temp rose from
3.9C at 1020z to 8.0C at 1150z. Several farmers were
out in the fields today spreading slurry. After 20-odd mm
of rain last night on top of all we had last week it's
remarkable that the fields can take the weight of a big
modern tractor and a full slurry tank. I suppose the
limestone bedrock has a lot to do with it. The drainage
here is very rapid. There's still some snow drift remnants
along the walls but, for all practical purposes, the
countryside at our level is now clear of snow.
Max temp 8.6C and it was another sunless day.
