Default Instromet sunshine recorder and data logger

Thank you Nick. I spent £220 on their logger and software and its a pile of pants! My Davis software gives good results with their sun-logger and control box.
Currently in dispute. One plus I have their sensor and mines 20 years old. I will contact Bernard - I know he has their sensor and an ADC16, but these have been discontinued. I was wondering if anyone uses their logger?

Apologies, it's been that long since I set it up I have realised that
the ADC-16 logger has nothing to do with Instromet. So I don't think
Bernard will have their logger.

I also use an old Davis WW3 console that I got hold of for next to
nothing. But I suspect any weather station console will work that
measures rainfall. I put the output from the Instromet recorder into
where the tipping bucket rain recorder would have gone. A regular pulse
from the Instromet whilst the sun is shining causes the console to
record 0.1" of rain each time. You can convert this to hours and minutes
of sunshine. This allows me to upload 'live' sunshine data onto my
website and also acts as a data backup in the event of a lengthy power
failure as the Davis WW3 runs on batteries.
